He's not a libertarian, he's a Republican and makes no bones about it. He was very helpful to many of the Republican candidates in Michigan last year. He will be speaking to Republican groups all over the country this year, especially youth groups.

I have no idea why I thought he was a Libertarian, maybe someone told me that once or something..

If that's the case, I bet he does very well. Further, a bunch of people who don't otherwise bother to go to the polls will support him I bet.
