He's got mine and several of my U.A.W. friends. Unfortunately, you are talking about highly concentrated areas of socialists in Detroit, Flint, Bay city and Saginaw who don't give a rat's ass about your freedoms. All they know is to march lockstep behind the UAW hierarchy who are willing to send their workers into strike situations which will ultimately result in lost wages that will never be recovered by the members. Meanwhile, the thugs at Solidarity House will continue to reap their exhorbitant salaries while never losing a dime for their efforts.

These are the same jackasses who gave the state of Michigan to Al Gore!

At least he is a conservative voice on campus. Every time I hear him speak he is elegantly coarse, if that makes sense. He marches to his own drum, but he is honest and consistently true to his ideals, and his presence on campus is sending the message to the students that it is OK to speak your mind. That is very important in the politically correct age that we live in right now. There is no way he could be elected to office himself (as discussed on another thread). He is akin to a right-wing Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. Hopefully he will inspire someone more eloquent to speak their mind, maybe run for office some day. His 'take no crap' attitude may be the wake-up call for some young conservative out there. Then again, maybe he's just a fart in the wind. Time will tell.

Ya know, if the goal is for rah-rah self-esteem reinforcing on the right, Nugent may be doing good. However, if the goal is to bring more over to conservative ideas, messages, and voting, right now he's really counterproductive.
