Actually, even better than homemade is the chili pie at James Coney Island in Houston.

You had to bring this up when I am on a diet?! Being from Snyder, Texas, I remember how good "Frito Pie" was at those cold, Friday night football games.
BTW, tried selling them at a country fair in Pennsylvania, and they went over quite well. (They just taste better with Wolfe.....and under those Texas skies.)
