I couldn't help but post this... especially with all the threads that have one or two Freepers saying "great, now I've got that stupid song in my head!".

The only question I have is: Since I'm being TORTURED , can I take the record companies to court & get a big settlement????

I guess the next time that happens to me, I'll break the cinnamon sticks out and start humming:

"Sooomewherrreee ooover the rainbowwww, wayyyy up higghhh..."!

Cheers!

For years now Muttly has had Soupy Sales' great hit "Bafalafika" ringing in his head. He tried doing "The Freddy" for hours on end, but it didn't help.

'Explains a lot, doesn't it.

The vast majority of people say they have been mentally tortured at one point in their lives by a song that keeps repeating itself over and over in their heads.

This is precisely why the jerk-off who first decided putting music in elevators and businesses was a good idea should burn in hell.

If McDonalds causes obesity then why not the music industry causing mental illness? Law suits coming to a court near you soon.

One of Lennon-McCartney's greatest works of art:

Why don't we do it in the road?
Why don't we do it in the road?
Why don't we do it in the road?
Why don't we do it in the road?
No one will be watching us.
Why don't we do it in the road?

VERSE 2:

Why don't we do it in the road?
Why don't we do it in the road?
Why don't we do it in the road?
Why don't we do it in the road?
No one will be watching us.
Why don't we do it in the road?

Another British Invasion song:

I'm Henery the Eighth I am.
Henery the Eighth I am, I am....

And of course this gem:

Dooooooo, do do do do do doooooo.
Don't worry
Do do do do do dooooo
Be happy
Do do do do do dooooo
Don't worry be happy.

You asked for it!

Well I'm shopping for a new car, which one's me?

A cool convertible or an SUV.

Too bad I didn't know my credit was whacked, so I driving off the lot in a used sub-compact.

F-R-E-E, that spells "free", credit report dot com baby.

Saw their ads on my TV. Thought about goin' but was too lazy.

Now instead of lookin' fly I'm looking fat, my legs are sticking to the vinyl and my posse's getting laughed at.

I saw a picker on stage once who mentioned this syndrome, then said that one way to get rid of it was to play it backwards. He went on to say that something like the “Woody Woodpecker” theme song might be difficult, but it could be done.

Oh, great, there it goes again ...
