Clinton starts her bid to be president

HILLARY Clinton is spending millions of dollars building up an office that would form the centre of her bid for the presidency, it was claimed last night.
Mrs Clinton raised $3.3 million (£2.09 million) last year for her HILLPAC charity, which was set up to distribute funds to Democratic candidates.
But a study has claimed that most of the money raised has been spent funding her own political campaign.
According to Washingtons independent weekly political newspaper, the Hill, only 31 per cent of the money raised has gone where it was intended. The rest has been spent on staff, an office, travel, direct mail and political consultants.
The revelations prompted speculation that Mrs Clinton, 57, a supremely popular figure among rank and file Democrats, could finally be gearing up for an eventual assault on the US presidency.
She has long been tipped to run for the countrys top job and has the support of her husband Bill, himself a former president.
Larry Noble, of the Centre for Responsive Politics watchdog group, said: "It looks like shes building a national network ... the assumption on the part of many people is that this is the beginning of laying the groundwork for a presidential campaign in the future."
HILLPAC, which is headed by Mrs Clinton, exists to serve Democrats in their political campaigns. Mrs Clinton denies it has any direct authority to pay for presidential candidates, insisting: "HILLPAC was founded to elect other Democrats."
Mrs Clinton, senator for New York state, has the biggest federal allowance of any Democrat in Congress. HILLPAC director Patty Solis said overhead costs are high because it is a new political charity group and needed office equipment.
She added that Mrs Clinton gave more money to other politicians from a separate New York group, HILLPAC NY, which raised $305,000 and gave away 86 per cent of it.
The row was seized upon by the US tabloids, which carried breathless reports in yesterdays editions.
"Hill deliver$ a huge PACkage to herself," ran a headline in the New York Post, rather unceremoniously labelling Bill Clintons wife a "PAC rat".
The newspaper carried a tortuous breakdown of Mrs Clintons financial activities, devoting most of its second page to the complicated saga.
Mrs Clinton has long been tipped to throw her hat into the ring to become a future president of the United States. Last month a poll recognised her as the overwhelming choice among members of her political party to succeed George Bush as president.
The study, carried out by Quinnipiac University, showed she was the favourite among 42 per cent of Democrats - a nearly 3-1 margin over second place Senator Joe Lieberman.
"If she even let herself be talked about seriously, shed be the one to beat among the Democrats and she could raise zillions of dollars. I cant figure out who in the bunch of them could beat her," said pollster Maurice Carroll.
Mrs Clinton, a vociferous political opponent of Mr Bush, was recently elected onto the Senates armed services committee, an influential government watchdog.
Despite continued speculation about a possible attempt to become president, Mrs Clinton has refused to comment on her political aspirations.

Is there a "Bill-Watch" thread or website? Just to record for posterity the depths of depravity? His life seems to be a cross between Hef's "Playboy After Dark" and Christopher Walken's "The Continental" euro-scuz skits for Saturday Night Live.

She will be the democrat nominee for President.
There will be a deadlock at the convention and she will be drafted.
She will state, that in order to save the democrat party she will accept the nomination.
Unless the Good Lord intervens , she will win the election.
There will be voter fraud committed on a scale never seen before [and there won't be after because she will abolish all future elections].
She will have financial backing from marc and denise rich, the communist Chinese, Saudi Arabia, hollywod, the homosexual community, the national organization for women, the abortion industry [I prefer calling it the murder industry], the mainstream media, the international socialists.
This stuff about going to war against Saddam Hussin is going to get much nastier before it gets any better.
Shortly after the democrat convention the main stream media and hollywood crowd will unleash a vicous attack on President Bush that will have no precedent [sp?] in history.
Everything the clintons do, they do for a ulterior motive.
She has got on the Armed Forces Subcommittee so the media can portray her to be a moderate and so she can pass any information she gains from being on said subcommittee to the Nation's enemies.
She is slowly stepping up her attacks on President Bush as is bill.
At bill's instigation, such sages as jimmy carter, etal are stepping up their critism of President Bush.
I hope that I am wrong, but after watching the clintons operate for 8 years, this is how I see it.
In closing , I would state that there are those who said that she would not run for the N.Y. Senate, then they said that she would not be elected. Anyone who underestimates hillary clinton does so at their own peril.

Oh, she's ramping up for a White House run...but not 'til 2008. All of this is building up five years in advance!

Hey folks, see what this book, "Double Take - Politically Incorrect Limericks" by some body named Jaggero (which I read over the Xmas holidays) had to say about this woman; it's a cheap and funny as heck book that makes some great observations about BILL/HILL and a lot of their best buddies, terrorism/terrorists, politicians (ours), pop-culture (& Hollywood leftists - the book accurately predicted that Bill Maher will return on cable...) and society, in general. Check out their website here:

I'll say this too, if this book had a liberal slant it would be hailed by the media as a pure work of art! A picture I took of a poster ad (in NYC) can be seen here:

By the way, I sent this book as a gift to a few of my liberal "friends" last Christmas, I haven't heard from them since...makes me wonder!

You have got to be kidding. The power hungry "co-President" who once "with eyes blazing said 'I just want to run something' " doesn't want to go down his history as the most powerful nation on earth's first female President???? She will stop at NOTHING to get there and as far as I can see she is at least half way there and I'm really worried about this.

Hillary is running in '04 and there are enough useful idiots in the US to elect her. Never underestimate a fawning press, voter fraud, and the stupidity of the electorate. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Anyone who underestimates hillary clinton does so at their own peril.Excellent predictions. I totally agree with you. And the same people who are out demonstrating against Dubya are the ones who will vote her in.

September 11, 2001 - Two large buildings in a US city were destroyed and thousands of lives were lost partly because of this witch and her husband.
America will make its second mistake in a decade if this lady (loosely defined) is ever elected to the presidency....
