prayers are in order... Yes, it doesn't matter if they were doing spec ops, hauling ash and trash, or training, they put their lives on the line for us. Next time I see a pacifist holding a sign, I'm gonna say better men than you have died for their country, and all you do is whine about poor Sadaam....

Another prayer bump.
(Strange how the "it's all about oil" smear-artists never explain why the USA risks antagonizing the oil states by its support of that zero-oil country, Israel.)

I'm rambling. Mostly I just lurk but tonight is exceptional. Those kids who made the ultimate sacrifice today are from my old unit. Please have them, their comrades and their families in your prayers tonight. Done. This one made an impact on me too, for some reason. If you're not careful you'll turn a whole lot of us into a bawling mess.
I can't explain it, but there's something that happened here that will remain a story worth telling whether or not the story is ever told. Maybe it's just a hunch.
God bless these soldiers.

Unfrickin' believable! Take your sack of garbage to someone else's funeral. These men died for us today.

I pray it's not your son, B-cause. And I pray it's not my friend.
I would rather it not be anyone killed at all :(
I too am looking for more detail.
Mr. Rotorhawk, can you share what unit they were from?

can anyone get an email address for maybe the chaplain or an address...we could send a postcard

Yes, it doesn't matter if they were doing spec ops, hauling ash and trash, or training, they put their lives on the line for us. Next time I see a pacifist holding a sign, I'm gonna say better men than you have died for their country... That's worth repeating. There are guys stuck emptying portable latrines that should perhaps be saluted twice-- just in case they didn't see it the first time-- it may be a crappy job, but in war there are no meaningless jobs.
All gave some, some gave all.

4 soldiers just died
get off this thread and take your agenda on another thread. There are plenty of threads on this site for your debate. This isn't one of them.
It could even be the son of a poster.

Father, we thank you that you blessed the world with such men as these. We pray for their families, and we thank you that you hold them all in the palm of your hand.
To: rynosandberg1
More prayers for these four brave men and their families.
My heart so grieves.
