This song can be heard by hitting the above link, then scrolling down to 1/30/03.
For those who don't want to go there, or cannot hear the tune for whatever reason, or those who have heard the song but are not sure what she is saying, here are the lyrics:
Well hello there, blue blood boy
Your bed is lined with dollars
I bet you're cumming oil
I love the way you take control and push the world around
United Nations- Ha,ha
No one can keep you down
Daddy's little helper, silver foot in your mouth
Peacemen of the world gonna start another war
Connecticut yankee in a cowboy hat
You're my hero, Mr. president
Remember the elections for the presidency
No matter the call of the majority
Your cousin married Fox TV, he declared you were the one
Your brother came through with his promise he'd get Florida
(Chorus)
Now what you gonna do about our economy
You spend three trillion dollars in a heartbeat
Now what about us folks who live hand to mouth
We can't afford our lives, and we're working three jobs
(chorus)
Now Don't you want your grand children to see the colorado river?
You're kissing so much corporate ass that
You're selling away our future
We can all wear our geo-thermal suits and toast to you 'W'
Now wiping out the terrorists, that's fine by me
But please don't erode our civil liberties
The America we fight for and hold so dear
Includes a woman's right to choose
Freedom of religion, freedom of assembly
And free speech like the song I'm singing here
(chorus)
Daddy's little helper, silver spoon in your mouth
The peacemen of the world gonna kick Hussein's butt
Connecticut yankee in a cowboy hat
You're my hero, Mr. President
Mmmhmm

I hope she trips on one of Bill Clinton's used condoms, her x-42 size presidential knee-pads must be really wearing thin.

"Doc" as in Doctor, as opposed to "Dock" like "Dock of the Bay"

It was also without examining the black precincts in Philly and Detroit that registered more than 100% voter turnout.
Fraud in those two key cities turned Pennsylvania and Michigan, which otherwise would've gone for Bush and made it a very early night for all of us.

Who the heck is Paula Cole? Hugh Hewitt was playing this earlier tonight. I really have never heard of her. Sounds like she's a rude idiot to me.

LOL! Paula Cole isn't exactly in demand these days, is she? I think the band Great White may have more future concert dates than she will.
As for her Bush-bashing song, I was wondering where all of her hate came from until I reached the point in her lyrics that referred to abortion. Of course, she avoided the word "abortion" and instead made the normal femiNAZI reference to a woman's right to choose. (You know, a woman's right to kill another human being.)

We can't afford our lives, and we're working three jobs I understand, Paula dear -- you get kind of irritable every year around Grammy time, with all the thinking about what you could have been. Maybe you should have written some catchier songs, dearie -- y'know, ones that don't have disturbing imagery like "cumming oil." Ewwww.
Anyway, back to business. I'll have a chicken salad sandwich. Make it snappy and I'll leave a big tip. Chop chop!

I think the band Great White may have more future concert dates than she will.Oh that's a good one. I saw the pro-choice to murder children reference. Flashing hairy arm pits in public usually denotes one thing--the woman is probably a lesbian. The last time I heard the pregnancy rate in this particular group was really low so why would she care anyway. It always amazes me that these pro-murder children types suddenly act like they care about the children of Iraq. I saw a protester with a sign last weekend saying something about the Iraqi children. I didn't ask her, but I betcha dollars to donuts she was pro-choice.
Anyway, back to hairy pits Cole, looks like she is also blaming her failed career on President Bush as well:
From the song: We can't afford our lives, and we're working three jobs
All I have to say is don't quit your day jobS, Mizz Cole.

I saw a protester with a sign last weekend saying something about the Iraqi children. I didn't ask her, but I betcha dollars to donuts she was pro-choice. Some of the antiBush protestors have held up signs adorned with baby doll limbs adorned in blood and messages claiming this is what would happen to Iraqi children.
When partial birth abortion protestors use the same tactics, they are being too graphic, overly dramatic, etc.
They don't want to identify a fetus as human in any way.

Somehow I don't think that Paula Cole is getting choked up that $800,000 in Federal tax dollars went to funding the Grammy awards. "All I wanna do, is have some fun (at the taxpayer's expense, oh thanks for the gimme bag with the $5,000 watch)".

interesting that the main graphic on her website uses the same imagery that's normally associated with tattoos of the Virgin Mary.
an example:
Tattoo by Josh Hoffman, Olde City Tattoos (Philly, PA)
truly gross
