It is childish. Germans and French have a problem when their firms deliver material to Iraq illegally. And the governments strictly oppose that. In fact, these criminals will be prosecuted, attorneys are investigating already.
Some of these businessmen were convicted some weeks ago.

And the governments strictly oppose that.I haven't heard either Chiraq or Schroeder state that publicly. Quite the contrary. The German and French governments have looked the other way for 12 years. The French were tipping off the Iraqis as to what sites the UN inspectors were heading to before the fact back in the 90s. Once the dust settles and France and Germany are exposed, the whole world will be able to see how "strict" that opposition, that you claim exists, has been.

It is NOT childish; what IS childish is the 'old European' clan continuing to stick their heads in the sand like Ostriches. Chirac and Schroeder need to get it out, get it up....but they do NOT have the balls...perhaps there are some incriminating invoices and shipping/receiving records laying around Baghad? Nein?

It is childishAmericans always have had a great appreciation for the 'little guy'. Especially when he stands up to the bigger guy. He's just pointing out to the hypocritical french and german leaders that they have no clothes, so to speak.

As I said in an above post, if it weren't for the East Germans (and those parlor pinks and out and out Reds in Hamburg, Berlin and the rest of Junkerland), Germany would be behind us.
Was in Munich and Franfurt back in '91 and met nothing but nice people. Paris and Calais on the other hand...
