The body was throw there either before or after the fact

I don't think that was the case here. It was this man's house, and he and his brother had been identified as being involved in the planning and execution of homicide bombings. It just so happened that he was in his house when they bulldozed it. Maybe he planned to be a human booby trap and activate the explosives to kill the crew on the bulldozer. Didn't work that way, and it endangered the lives of the PA folks who sent to try to remove his body!

Oops, my bad, read the story again, and it was his BROTHER'S home that he happened to be in. His home had already been destroyed by the IDF because of his activities.

If the belt was so dangerously explosive as to need such a long time to dismantle it, I don't understand why the belt didn't explode during the demolition.
