Conservative Feud Grows Over Muslims White House Staffers
It is a little-known fact that one or more Muslims have been on the White House staff continuously for the past 10 years, working behind the scenes in various capacities. All of these people worked their way up the ladder, overcoming suspicion and doubt and getting various security clearances along the way. Especially after 9/11, Muslims in the White House have had to prove themselves time and time again, as if being Muslim and a loyal American was an oxymoron. This week, conservative strategist Grover Norquist, who has worked to integrate Muslims into the Republican party, slammed conservative pundit Frank Gaffney, accusing him of smearing the names of two Muslim White House staffers and unfairly charging Norquist with giving White House access to "radical Muslims." Gaffney, who has long been a critic of Muslim contacts with the White House, offered no specific charges against the two staffers, but did try to link them (six-degrees-of-separation style) to Hamas & Hezbollah. Norquist sent a letter to Gaffney accusing him of questioning the loyalty of Ali Tulbah, an associate director of Cabinet affairs in the White House, and former public liason officer Suhail Khan. "This is the second time that a Muslim working for President George W. Bush has been subjected to an attack by you because of his faith," wrote Mr. Norquist. "You have made similarly dishonest allegations against Suhail Khan while he worked inside the White House." While at the White House, Khan served as a liason between the White House and Muslim communities, helping recruit Muslim support for the war on terror. He also helped honor Muslim police and firefighter heroes of 9/11. Tulbah has helped put together "best practices" guidelines for Muslim charities to insure no money goes to support terrorism. Norquist scoffed at suggestions that Muslim staffers would be conduits for terror, saying that they have "a higher security clearance than Frank Gaffney will ever have."

According to their own Islamic Faith, Muslims we must not be afraid to declare what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'aala obiges, and that is the unification of the state of affairs of this Ummah behind one Khaleefah. So that this Khilafah State can implement Islam and Invite the world to Islam via Invitation and Jihad. This responsibility is pre-ordained by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'aala.
And what is Khilafah? The Khilafah is the global leadership for all the Muslims in the world. Its role is to establish the laws of the Islamic Shariah and to carry the dawah [missionary invitation] of Islam to the world. It warns that establishing a Khaleefah is a holy obligation upon all Muslims in the world.
Their undisputed motto is: "support your brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed".
So how can Muslims be in the White House???

That is my knee jerk assumption too. Does ANYONE KNOW if there is a difference between Muslim and radical Muslim? I've read 3 different translations of the Qu'ran. I've been in mosques. I have read FatWas and am pretty up to date on Shari'ah.
I don't see room for a difference. Am I missing something? Why doesn't Islam get declared a cult already? Or am I missing something??

What the he** is wrong with Norquist, anyway? He used to be a great conservative, he has frantically trying to get Muslims into the party for the past three years -- way before 9/11. He is also strongly opposed to immigration reforms. Freepers know everything, can someone tell me what the 411 is on Norquist and his love affair with the burqa-and-bombs set?

You're missing a lot. Fred Phelps' "church", Methodists, Roman Catholics, and phony huckster televangelists all claim to follow the Bible. An equally wide range of beliefs and practices fall under the umbrella of followers of Allah and the Quran. Certainly, the current period in Muslim history is marked by a strong current of violence and intolerance in the name of the religion. But Christianity has gone through such periods in its history as well.

According to Newsweek, White House political officials disregarded warnings from the Secret Service that Al-Arian was a potential terrorist, and let him in anyway.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reports that the alleged terrorists were running influence operations to penetrate the US political system and influence policy.

Muslims are like Christians. There are varying degrees of obedience. We have all kinds on campus, from full burkah to tank tops. Some told me they only attend mosque on holy days.

So how can Muslims be in the White House??? It's not that people can't follow the logic. It's more that people don't want to know.

Of course you are right. They not only have different degrees of "observance", but there are different "denominations". Muslims are no more all united in belief than are Christians or Jews.

I wonder how many State Shintoists were on the White House staff following Pearl Harbor.

I have no idea what Norquist's motivation is, but he does seem to be behaving like somebody who has been paid off and/or blackmailed.

That is why the story must be told what and how much has GN group been infiltrated by terrorist muslims. Is there a payoff to GN to promote this group that goes against The President every chance they get.

So how can Muslims be in the White House???A minor piece called the Bill of Rights contained in a minor document known as the US Constitution.
I'm all for killing the radical jihadists whenever possible, I'm all against painting with brushes so broad as to wipe out the Constitution with one stroke.

No. I think you are missing a lot. Yes, there is violence in everyone's past across all cultures. But that is NOT what Khilafah teaches. Go back and reread my comment if you didn't understand.
To: AppyPappy
Ah, no. Muslims are not like Christians. Islamic teachings require Muslims to obey Sharia'h above any another law. How familiar are you with FatWahs?
