Thats so true, I had a very special dog when I was pregnant. She kept my feet warm when I slept and always made sure I was loved. The poor thing, she was a Bassett Hound and developed glaucoma and walked out in frot of a car. I miss her a lot.

Yep, when they are gone you miss them the same as you do people. We had a Bassett Hound too, for a while. Our neighbors in Spokane, Washington were transferred to Spain (Air Force family, same as us). They left "Lady" with us, an old and quite obese Bassett Hound. She died about a year later, of a heart attack ...
