But, we do know what he's thinking. He's thinking Islam is a peaceful religion. He's thinking illegal immigrants should be granted amnesty. He's thinking homosexuality is simply an alternate lifestyle.

How do we know that's what he's thinking? Because he's gone on record as saying so, that's how.

And what he's said about these issues are the points of contention. And I'm sorry that so many think he's the new Messiah, but they've got a reality check coming.

That's a false dilemma. We have only GW or Clinton from which to choose? I don't think so.

Maybe someday we'll have a president who does the right thing, all the time. Maybe someday we'll have a president who tells the truth even though it's going to cost him an election.

Then again, maybe American politics is such that such a politician would never win an election.

Post the record on homosexuality, where he's given his statements. I will not believe that he selects or not selects potential candidates on their sexual basis, especially in this climate of lawsuit mania.

I'll wait to see O'reilly's results on an investigation into the immigration issue. If it's true that Ford Motors is one, or the largest, supporter of immigration amnesty we have greater problems than we've ever seen. They are empowering lawyers to fight the government on any level of immigration policy that would deport illegals.

As I've said before our fight is not against Islam, it's against murderers who use that banner religion to kill innocent people.

Well, that puts me on a slippery slope, indeed. Because I campaigned against Al Gore on the basis of homosexuality, abortion rights and welfare. Now, GW embraces homosexuals and welfare (immigrant welfare, that is). We'll see where he is on abortion.

This is the point. True Islam is murderous. A true moslem follows the Koran. The Koran commands genocide. If a moslem does not follow the Koran, he's not a true moslem. And if he's not a true moslem, then he's not a part of the equation. We have nothing to fear because he's not a (true) moslem.

Guess it does if you let it (put you on the slippery slope). I just know that come election day many will be faced with three choices. Vote for GW. Don't vote at all. Or, vote for some third party candidate that doesn't have a snow balls chance in hell of winning and in so voting mathematically help the Democrat.

Me, I will vote and will vote for GW if for no other reason, he isn't a Democrat!

But you know, by then, even though I am presently dissappointed in a number of his positions, I will be able to come up with a bit more positive reason to vote for him.

But if I can't, I will still, more than likely vote for him, as I HATE what the Democrat party has become and how they have gotten there. Don't get me wrong, these days I don't have much great love for the GOP, but I don't despise them as much as I do the Democrats.

What would you propose Bush do concerning the gay/lesbian agenda? This lobby has been working in increments for a very long time and has been able, for at least 5 years, to adopt and be foster parents for unwanted children. Corporations have hired gay/lesbian employees in their HR departments that have made it their mission to hire more and in turn, change policy concerning hiring/firing, health benefits...every area that affect true family values.

It's hypocritical to take this argument to the feet of Bush and have it to appear as though he must end this here and now. Where were you during the Clinton years when this began.

I must believe, that Bush has shown his integrity in his dealings and he is not hiring on the basis of the potential employee's sexual preference.

I admire Dr. Dobson and all that he's accomplished for the family and I'm glad he's bringing this issue to light. The Christian coalition and others had better build their lobby stronger, stay on our knees, and on capitol hill to make sure strong family values are worthy of protecting. And not bow to the pressure of the gay and lesbian agenda.

And so then we vote the man who will advance our personal causes, even if he's disreputable. That's one heck of an option.

Fundamentally, then, we're no different from the demonRats. We're not wedded to truth nor committed to righteousness.

It simply boils down to choosing the lesser of two evils.

No matter. Christianity is loving. But it is also commanded to judge others, according to the word. John 7:24: Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Christianity is compassionate, but is also to be intolerant of evil. Eph. 5:11: Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Concerning homosexuals that you are so tolerant of? Romans 1 says such are worthy of death.

You seem to be hiding behind the skirt of moral relativism, but it won't work.

In the final analysis, truth is an absolute, not an option. After all, Moses did not come down from the mount with, "The Ten Suggestions."

OMG "the lesser of two evils" argument. In this one Bush is truly the better candidate. He knows he must answer to someone higher than himself. That's half the battle just knowing you're going to miss the mark.

I was speaking and writing, publically, on the radio, television and in the press against Clinton.

I converted democrats to the Republican party based on these very issues. Now GW has done the same thing.

I, among others, never thought he would "end" it. I just never expected him to advance it as he has.

I think for you to call President Bush "disreputable" is laughable. Who did you vote for in the Primary?-- a write-in for the Church Lady. She didn't do so good.

Based on what you have posted on this single thread, any candidate you would support unequivocally would get a pretty small number of votes.

Why don't you run on the "Right Party" ticket for President in 2004? Your party motto could be- "Because We're Always Right". If you do, Enjoy the political wilderness-- and be sure to bring plenty of matches.
