The interesting thing about New World archeology is that I firmly believe and accept that there were probably many contacts in the past two or three millenia from China, Polynesia, Scandinavia, Phoenecia, etc.....

Having said that though, I can accept those contacts from Old to New World WITHOUT having to tie it to LDS/Mormonism, since I have seen NO EVIDENCE for the LDS theories.
