Serbian Orthodox suffer

At least 110 Serb Christian sites (churches, monasteries, graveyards etc.) have been damaged or destroyed in Kosovo since the United Nations took control in June 1999.

Most recently, a church building in the village of Ljubovo was completely destroyed by an explosion in the early hours of 17 November last.

A second explosion damaged another church in the town of Djurakovac. The bombings came on the eve of a visit to Kosovo by UN General Secretary Kofi Annan.

Church leaders and Orthodox worshippers also face violence and hostility from ethnic Albanians, especially where UN checkpoints in the vicinity of churches have been withdrawn in recent months.

Ethnic Albanian Muslim extremists regard churches as symbols of Serbian domination and see them as legitimate targets.

The main objections is that Charlie Powell has been seen sitting in a restaurant with the war time Chief of the Srebrenica Police, Hakija Meholjic, who along with Naser Oric and Zulfo Tursunovic ordered and participated in murders of Serbs in 1992/1993. 'We find such behaviour of yours extremely offensive. It causes us a great pain and it causes even a greater pain to the families whose family members were killed by Meholjic’s orders”, reads the letter. The Serbs from Srebrenica also stated in the letter that the way in which Powell operates will not lead to reconciliation but will rather make that the local Serb community looses trust in the IC institutions.

In 1997 Mr. Zumach from the German newspaper Tageszeitung writes the following about the files relevant to Srebrenica in "UN tribunal criticizes the French 'total blockade'":

"In the New York central headquarters of the UN, all files relevant to Srebrenica have been classified "secret" for the next 30 - 50 years and are not even available for the tribunal. This decision was taken at the demand of the permanent members of the Security Council, the USA, France and Great Britain, in reference to their protection of the secrecy of government documents."

These remains are stored in three locations in Tuzla and one location in Visoko. Serbian Christians suffered more under Tito, Milosovich and the Commies than they are suffering now. Tito an his commie cronies sought to marginalize the Church and almost suceeded. Serbs are still only nominally practicing Christian and need to expand their efforts to proselytize their own people not to mention efforts aimed at recapturing the faith for the Albanians. I hope that the Serbian Orthodox Church is doing that because the Saudi Islamists are spending hundreds of millions of dollars supporting the Muslims.

What happened in the 90's under Clinton Albright and NATO is despicable and still haunts Europe to this day.

Have you heard about the "pedomazoma" ("Child gathering") by the Commies (Albanians, Serbs, and Croats) crossing over into Greece and focibly taking children from their families to turn them into Commies.

I'am waiting for homeagain balkansvet explanation, how the 7,500 bags of human remains of various gravesites in northeast BiH can never be bodies or bodyparts of to Serb loyal Muslims (who fought against Oric), Serbs, foreign Mudshahedins, Bosnian Muslim who died in battles against the Serbs.
