What is the murder rate in Texas? How does it fare on average compared to states without the death penalty? I could offer a guess. And being that Texas is on the Mexico border, which has skyrocketing crime and drug running [and doesn't have the death penalty], Texas is at a geographical disadvantage. FReegards....

All you need to do is look at one city ---El Paso and compare it's violent crime with the crime just on the other side of the border. It's a very amazing difference. In one week Juarez had 17 murders but they just found a lot of bodies of young girls last week.
