I am watching it too -- rescue teams trying to recover bodies/victims. The Providence NBC affiliate is going wall to wall with is, bouncing back between the studio and the reporters on the scene. They don't have much to say though, just some dramatic footage from earlier when the flames were still going strong.
300 people were in the club at the time, and there were at least 60 runs to the hospital so far. Families are having trouble getting info on names of victims.

Damn, I'm not at all anxious to frequent any night clubs with the way things are going these days.

I used to go to a lot of rock shows and always wondered how they were able to shoot off all those pyrotechnics in a closed arena without hurting anybody or causing a fire. The one news report I've seen on this indicated that only several people were "injured." Let's hope so.

Well damn. If their hair is as big as it was in the 80s, let's hope they didn't pull a Michael Jackson-Pepsi thing.

I guess the internet feed is looped into music. I only got an Ozzy and now Queen songs.
No mention on FNC half hour update(gee what a surprise). MSNBC and CNN are asleep in reruns, Headline News doesn't wnat to interrupt their spins and jabs at Bush.

Fire chief: "the picture is bleak at the club." That is all the reporter would say about her interview with him.
Dozens of stretchers lined up waiting to carry out victims.
Dear god.
