I will tell you the REAL reason they are threaning Israel with expulsion.
France and Israel are in the same group (Group 1). They are afraid France will be forced to surrender, LIKE THEY DID WHEN 1994 WHEN ISRAEL KNOCKED FRANCE OUT OF THE WC.

No big loss. maybe israel will show the way by adopting golf as their national sport and get rid of the girlyman sport of soccer altogether.

Axis of Weasels bump.
It's the French; it's always the French.

I would guess they fear some Muslim atrocity. But the answer to that isn't to back down. Maybe they should ask the Mafia to handle security.

The French must be afraid they'll get beat. Otherwise they'd relish the opportunity to beat Isreal at soccer.

Simple solution. Don't make the matches public or announce their location.
Broadcast them live from an obscure pitch on a military reservation.

It's too dangerous to play soccer in Israel, but it's perfectly OK to play cricket in Kenya and Zimbabwe.
Double standard.

There are hundreds of thousands of Israeli's who are die-hard fans of the sport of soccer. I hope the fags calling soccer gay say it in front of IDF soldiers playing soccer games while on short breaks from protecting Israel.

Palermo to host Israel-France Euro 2004 qualifier |
GENEVA, Feb 21 (AFP) © 2003 AFP |
The Sicilian capital Palermo will host Israel's Euro 2004 qualifying match against European champions France on April 2, European football's governing body UEFA confirmed on Friday. The announcement was made after UEFA received guarantees from the Israeli federation and Italian authorities concerning security measures. Israel cannot host any match on home ground because of security fears in the Middle East. Israel take on France in Group 1 qualifiers on April 2 before coming up against Cyprus on April 30, provisionally scheduled at the same venue. For the moment however guarantees on security measures have only been confirmed for the Israel versus France fixture. |
