ZORAS BIKINI SURPRISE -'Millionaire' Beauty Posed Topless for Sexy Construction Pinup Calendar
The Trentonian ^ | February 20, 2002 | Laura Pelner

Posted on 02/20/2003 7:37:32 AM PST by ewing

On FOX Networks prime time ratings bonanza 'Joe Millioniare' Monday Night Zora Andrich came off so sweet and innocent.

She wouldn't kiss on the first date, and she always wore a tank top over her bathing suit.

But it seems that the Lambertville, New Jersey Zora Alrich was not always so demure.

In fact she used to be comfortable shedding down to skimpy swimwear-she has been featued twice as a pinup girl in a somewhat racy construction calendar.

Andrich appeared topless as Miss July in the Powerco, Incorporated 2001 Contruction calendar, the tabloid National enquirer reported yesterday. (slated to run in next weeks editions)

Nude modeling? Not according to the rest of the article...

Please don't confuse us with the facts, our minds are already made up.

They were saying she should drop out, and for a while seemed to be threatening a mutiny. I think the producers stepped in, probably reminded them of their own dark little secrets.

My thoughts exactly. How would HBO's publicity support conflict with the current campaign finance laws?

I dropped HBO last year. Their attempts to turn LBJ into a saint, of all things, was the last straw. I was tired of paying to support blatant liberal propaganda and HBO was the worst.

Are you sure, all of the girls ganged up on Heidi-Ho and almost took her out of the contest because of her admission that she had a boyfriend.

You mean the genre wasn't a 'vast wasteland' before this?

Doing the same show every single day will kill it, but a genre really can't get over exposed. Just how many sitcoms have there been? Cop shows? Worst case scenario is a genre can get too little variation then it goes away for a while until somebody figures out something new (like how cop shows went away after Miami Vice and came back with Nash Bridges).

If something ugly happens while a show is filming we'll never hear about it, that show will have never happened (as far as TV land is concerned). I wouldn't be suprised if something ugly hasn't already happened.

Ewing has a history of poor reading comprehension:

Here Ewing wrote:

NBC says that the show may be fake and that 70% of the contestants were involved in the Adult Entertainment Industry somehow.
http://www.msnbc.com/news/871569.asp

And that Evan the 'bachelor' is going to wrestle in something called the 'Gay Wrestling Association.'

[is going to=future tense]

When a reader goes to the link, all you find is links to non-NBC websites, including one website that speculates about the past by a "anonymous former roommate" :
Joe wanted to travel the Gay Wrestling Federation circuit (The GWF ...or "gwiff," as we understand the boys like to call it).

An anonymous former roommate of Joe's, who coincidentally happens to be a male wrestler, recalls Joe's moves..."oh, Joe was always 'well received' in every arena he entered. He has a real talent, and a permanent home with the GWF if he ever wants it."

Not quite:

And that Evan the 'bachelor' is going to wrestle in something called the 'Gay Wrestling Association.'

HBO probably has a team of lawyers working on the question as we speak. It could garner them huge publicity

Well depending on how you think about it reality TV is one of the oldest genres. It's obviously a subcategory of game show, but look at the old nature shows that actually showed the host interacting with the animals (Wild Kingdom was my favorite, with that old guy), I think there's some reality show in there. To a large degree the reality show revolves around the possibility of people getting hurt, either emotionally or physically. And as long as we rubberneck car accidents you'll always be able to sell that on TV.

What's going to happen is that a lot of people are going to get maimed in an accident that they can't cover up or that one of the shows will be exposed to be complelety fixed (like it hasn't happened already)

Gotta disagree with both your comments......first, genres always get overdone, then fade....look at TV westerns...ways back, more than 50% of shows were western....now, since CSI..everyshow on the air has a forensic science "hook"...and already it's getting tiresome...it's too complicated.....like h.s. chemistry...as to your last point, with all the cable stations and the internet..do youreallyt hink it's possible that if something occurs it won't get out....?...no way....regards

But of course the contestants didn't have the ability to kick somebody off. But they might have tossed her out a window.

When Evan/Joe went to wrestling camp, I was under the impression that he had a standing offer to travel to learn the trade.

Westerns as an entertainment genre have died (TV movies and books, all toast), not because they were over done but because the core good vs bad conflict that is the heart of the western has moved comfortably into other genres. CSI is just another cop show, they found a new way to hit that genre. Genre's fade because the space gets filled with too much similarity, in the 70s the cop show was a gritty guy on the mean streets, they faded not because people were tired of the cop show but because they were tired of the same kind of cop show. It came back in the 80s as a slick guy with a good soundtrack, then faded (but gave birth to the buddy cop movie); it's come back again as the science geek, which will fade. But the cop show will be back.

And of course cop show is a specific genre. Reality show isn't a specific genre, it's a general genre sitting alongside sitcom, drama, and action (which is where westerns fit). The general genre's CAN'T fade, because they're too general. Within reality TV there are at least 3 specific genres: the techno competition (Junkyard Wars), the straight elimination (Survivor), and the psuedo romance (Joe Millionaire, Bachelor), and there's probably more but I'm just going from the top of my head. One of these specific genres might get over done, but the general genre is here to stay.
