Okay, they are rioting in their own neighborhoods, knocking out fire hydrants, what happens when they "accidently" lite their "cribs" on fire? I don't understand.
No water + house on fire = homeless!

I don't remember Fritz saying it would be like this.

Something tells me that may have been some time ago... That would depend on what your definiton of "some time ago" is.

>>I don't understand "aim small--miss small."
If you're aiming, and aiming small (and not sprayin' and prayin'), you're probably not missing your intended point of aim by much. And if you're only missing point of aim by just a little, you're probably still effective. For instance, a small miss from the center of the chest puts one right through the heart, or to the other side, a lung, etc.
Thanks, FP. Great description.
Plus, it was a line I stole from Mel Gibson in "The Patriot" (giggle) ];-)

Shouldn't be in "breaking news". Civil disturbances in the third-world parts of Latin America happen all the time. Very clever of you. You must have strained a brain cell or two over this response. Thanks for your concern over those of us who are fellow Americans.

No big deal, no one rides the Blue Line anyway. Obviously, another under(un)informed response. Check your facts next time then report back...

60 people That's not really much of a riot ---there was one here last week with about 2000 kids at local high school and that wasn't even big news. They rioted over their classes being changed from 50 minutes to 90 minutes so they could learn more.

Yes that's why I asked. I saw The Patriot too, and didn't get it then either. :-)

"There is a reason why Mayor Giulianni fired him here (oh I'm sorry he was allowed to quit)."
He did a good job here. I just don't think there were enough cameras for Bratton and Rudy at the same time.

In a foul mood, are you?
I hope you're only kicking FReepers and not your dog as well.

He had the same problem in Boston, as I recall.

I was very surprised about Christopher Nance and his abusive behavior. One of the biggest surprises was the fact he was married...and to a woman besides.
