I yell at FoxNews when they cut Rummy off.(^:
Because we were shortchanged today, a classic Rummy moment:
Reporter: "we are having trouble getting top-secret info about troop movements out of the Pentagon"
Rumsfeld: "Really? Great! Glad to hear it!"

Right. She'll draw some votes, from the college towns in Iowa, I think. I'm sure you know that story.
I lived through the Braun years, in Illinois. Sheesh what an embarrassment. Great timing for Peter Fitzgerald.

It's almost impossible to predict the Iowa results....there are so many candidates.....however, the state is what, 99% white?...will that make a difference fore the Braun/Sharpton vote.....be interesting to see if the move the DC Dem primary up to right after the Iowa vote....
BTW, wouldn't you just LOVE to have the job of writing Kucinich's campaign slogan....."HE WANTS TO DO TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WHAT HE DIDTO CLEVELAND"

Bob Graham's phone aide all but said she thought Estrada was Bush's first Supreme Court nominee...So essentially they're blocking him because they don't want him to get a higher appointment in the future...Typical Democrat move.

Reporter: "we are having trouble getting top-secret info about troop movements out of the Pentagon" Sounds like this came from that SNL skit during the Gulf War. Can you believe the stupidity? Of course you can ;-)

Thanks, as always, for the transcription.....off topic question..did you here this weekend that Dodd is still "mulling" a presidential run?...does he hate Lieberman?..it's almost unheard of to see two senators fromt he same state, same party, longtime colleagues....for one to try to "ambush" the other...something's up..is Dodd a stalking horse?

well well look what keeping their feet to the fire does interrupts their $500 a day holiday! It can have that effect eh? -- if just a few tens of thousands of us pull together.

My personal take on the DNC parade...I don't think that most of them are legitimate candidates. Each one gets a full day's press coverage to attack the President and his policies, day after day after day. Doesn't this smell like Rat?
I called Sen. Frist's office a few weeks back and suggested that the Republican Senators should call press conferences to announce that they are not running for President - and take the opportunity to push GOP policies. Sen. Frist's secretary sounded confused. (^:

I can't quite agree with your assessment....because as the primaries get closer, they have to start targeting each other in order to get some differentiation and traction.....the other strategy is Biden's...he's waiting to see what happens...if no one breaks from the pack after SC, then he may jump in....
FWIW, I'll limb out on a limb....Iowa will be fragmented, and discounted as meaningless therefore...it'll finish Gephardt, because he'll get 4th, at best, if he doesn't drop out earlier....NH will be split between Kerry & Lieberman..neither will get a big jump, and it'll be discounted because of the proximity factor...SC will go for Sharpton, and thus will finish off Edwards......so you may see Biden jumping in....Hillary will go for a draft only if she think she can win....but she can't so she won't..so, here's my long shot....after no candidate comes close to catching the party's fancy, and Hillary bails...they'll need someone to carry the torch....so....Ted Kennedy....you heard it here...FIRST..

You had me until that part where you said Teddy takes it. Funny though. As much as I'd like to see Bush against Hillary, Kennedy might be even better.

Wait..consider...we're in the summer of '04..the war was a success..W looks invincible...no Dem pretender has broken out....Hillary won't touch it..they'll need someone to nominate, and who can hopefully keep the party from disintegrating..remember, they're trying to hold onto a bunch of Senate seats, and an weak ticket is deadly..so they need a sacrificial lamb...and Ted has got to be tired of being in the Senate minority..so, it's a great way to go out....and besides, I'll remind you....where's the Dem convention being held......I rest my case.....

the political handlers at the DNC are hung up on a judicial nomination and their dupes in the Senate are making fools of themselfMisunderestimating W again!
Gee, for a "brainless simpleton", Bush sure does seem to have NO trouble manipulating Democrats...
If he is as dumb as they say he is, what does THAT say about them?

I sent an e-mail to my senators (Hillary & Chuckie) asking them to end the filibuster of the Estrada nomination. I haven't heard back yet. (I know, you're shocked.) I wonder if they would have responded had I offered them $120.
To: WOSG
great email!...Everybody should make a pledge promise to the NRSC if they stand tough and confirm Estrada. If they have the will to force 24 hour debate on a judge, I'm sure they have it for other issues like taxes and supreme court nominees, etc
