Give them a chance to succeed, or fail, befoe you condemn..I think Frist is playing this one perfectly....All the Dem senators who came out in opposition last week have NOT said if they will support a filibuster. That's the key issue, we know he has the votes for passage. But Frist has to find 9 Dems to invoke cloture...right now, he's probab;y got 6-7....but he can't say anything until he gets them all...why would the others put themselves out front that way.....?

I suspect the RATS will soon moderate their rabid anti-Estrada tone after a week back home among their constituents.

At a time the nation is focused on the possibility of war with Iraq, the ongoing war against terrorism, and a relatively stagnant economy, the political handlers at the DNC are hung up on a judicial nomination and their dupes in the Senate are making fools of themself. It's a complete disconnect from what's on the mind of ordinary citizens.

The GOP needs to turn up the heat on these vermin and push the nominiation to a vote on the Senate floor. This is Sen. Frist's first test. Don't back down, pile on the sinking RATS.

Do the math, he has the votes going against the minority leftist democrat pro-choice/death democrats. There is a reason they are the minority...folks figured out their abortion propaganda...

There is a up to $500.00 (not to exceed ever $25,000) fine to any one that kills an 'endangered' fox, or upsets/touches certain turtle nest eggs along our shores. Under the detailed listings of the federal Endangered Species Act.

There is a $350.00 to $500.00 'amount due' to kill the human species. (AKA abortion) And in second/third human trimesters; scissors are jabbed into the HUMAN head and the brains are sucked out-In elective surgeries- daily, in the United States, all under the guise of a woman's "right." The only real "right" is the "right" to remain silent.

When will humans become "endangered" and protected?

When will the so called pro-"choicers" realize basic science skills of the food-chain? Human's are NOT at the bottom of the food-chain.

Do they really see what they do, with their political correctness all in the guise of a "woman's right"?

Not even the GOP calls a press conference to announce they are backing down. I suspect the WH has injected spinal material into several key GOP Senators and they will make their best case to America on behalf of Estrada.

Prediction - they're going to back down and make some weak attack on the Dems for obstructing but that the Republicans will remove their nominee so that the business of the country can continue and for the greater good.

Oh, wait. Lott is gone. Maybe they'll do the right thing and declare all out war on the Democrats for their indiscriminate use of weapons of mass obstruction.

Pubbies: Be sure to put "ABA: Well Qualified" on a big poster and make sure the cameras can't miss it.

Be sure to say "I sincerely hope out colleagues on the other side of the aisle aren't trying to play politics during a time of war. The Senate must be able to respond to any immediate actions we may be called upon to do, rather than stalling the nomination of the first Hispanic to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. I sincerely hope they don't do that."

Warning to Senators from both political parties: I'm going to change my Federal tax withholding on my paycheck to $0 for March 1st, and I intend to keep it there until Mr. Estrada is confirmed.

Dear Senator Frist,
I think the #1 issue conservatives will hold you accountable to is getting President Bush's judicial nominees a simple up or down vote. I know that Senators Daschle, Clinton, Schumer, etc are worthy adversaries. However, the majority of Americans DO NOT subscribe to their leftist agenda. Conservative judges, for all of the whining from the media, simply follow the law of ELECTED officials (isn't that what America is supposed to be about it?). Judges are NOT supposed to MAKE law, ie Roe v. Wade. So far I have been impressed with your stint as Senate Majority Leader. But, I know your biggest tests are yet to come. I urge to make Miguel Estrada's confirmation a top priority, despite what People for the American Way may say!

Thank you for your service,

I went to the SEIU link, edited their letter, and they faxed it to DC. Sent to Graham and Nelson.

Who the hell is SEIU?

Service Employees Internation Union, AFL-CIO.

Funny, I just saw video of them last night rioting and fighting it out with police. I also saw some good baton work by the L.A. police on these socialist, seditious dirtbags - oh yeah!

SEIU is anti-Bush, pro-illegal immigration and amnesty for illegals, and pro-Saddam/Osama/Terrorism. They are about as subversive as you can get. No doubt they've come out against Estrada.

I thought about doing that, but was afraid they would change the letter back before they sent it.
