BG, I have loved you since the first time you called me a dork. I was a little hurt the time you called me a maroon, but after HSM told me about your schizophrenia I got over it. She also explained about your hallucinations and told me Brad doesn't really exist, but I say whatever floats your boat is fine. You are great fun and smart for an old coot. Congratulations on your big day!

No prob. I figured you might be sleeping in for all the right reasons and I had some time in the morning. It's not like it's work here! :) I enjoy these good people, and Brad's Gramma is total total fun!

Actually, I am trying to maintain overall strength and health, staying as mobile as I can.

OK, LOL, he can't do the laundry, but make sure you don't get tired taking care of others. TV dinners etc.

My arm doctor (who was the head of orthepedic surgery at George Washington Univ.) was a big fan of mobility for me ('cause I got that metal bar): he wasn't a cast person. He thought that if the break was stabilized, better to not lift things but to be a little mobile from the beginning. He also taught me, as did the physical therapist, that doing my arm exercises religious and getting LOTS of rest was key. I don't think they keep people in casts for as long as they used to . . . .

I totally sympathize with you on the washing of hair problem: I found that trying. Well, LOL, a broken arm did teach me to be a little more patient: everything took longer and I just had to slow down. Which was NOT easy, but what choice does one have? I really wish you the very best of recoveries with lots of rest and all.

I understand that Dorks are handy with monkey wrenches. Kudos for overcoming all the obstacles. I'm thawing out sweetie. Almost ready to shove off for the Mobius Triangle in San Diego.

I know that many have said that you are a Dork Gramma, but I have my doubts. A person can't be a Dork all of the time. I'll bet that at least part of the time you are a real sweet little ole angel of a Gramma. Congrats on being dutchess' second success. Making you look good was a major achievement.

We can always stow Gizzmutt in the bilgepump cabinet. Nobody ever goes near the bilgepump except me. Cap'n has me scrubbing that thing until it shines like gold. The Mobius Triangle is the only craft in the Pacific with a gold bilgepump.
