This is a mixed blessing thing, Free!
My husband is retired (also disabled) and had no clue how much I had to do, bills and all...:))
There is a fast learning curve in progress, since it will be 3 months before I can expect use of the arm - he had been doing dishes and mowing (riding), but now cooks, etc.
I insisted on doing the laundry before he shrank things or otherwise mishandled them.
After our daughter was born many years ago, he 'kindly' tossed every clean throw rug I had into a large Laundromat washing machine and poured bleach all over them to make them 'sanitary!' THEN turned on the water! Need I say more?!!
Actually, I am trying to maintain overall strength and health, staying as mobile as I can.
He earned many points, washing my hair, but let my friend, Jan, roll the curlers....:)))
