Bye Bye Gray Davis!!! Hope some of you heard Howard Kaloogian on Roger Hedgecock again today - they keep having him on with recall updates and the two of them together (Howard and Roger) are great!!!

The Kaloogian effort seems more organized than the Ted Costas effort. Kaloogian is getting an infrastructure in place before he kicks it off and the 160 days start ticking. Costas on the other hand served Davis on the day Powell was speaking to the U.N., guaranteeing a media eclipse, plus the clock is now running and he hasn't gotten the signature gathering effort underway, nor raised the necessary money.

If he is recalled, is there a new election or does the Lt. Gov take over?

I hope this recall petition is able to get the number needed just to watch the piranha on the left swarm and do their feeding frenzy on each other.

Very nice... but "American Independent Party?"

Isn't that kinda oxymoronic?

BIG problem in all of this, ladies and gentlemen. Let's assume this is successful, WHO are we going to get behind to replace Davis ? If there isn't even a united Republican effort for recall, how are we going to unite behind a single Republican ? Are we going to get behind Bill Simon ? Doubtful, a lot of the GOP blame him for running an inept campaign. Ah, but then who does that leave ? Yup, Tricky Dick Riordan, who never met a 'Rat he didn't give campaign money to. I, for one, would rather see Davis remain in office until January 2007 (or January 3007, for that matter - and yes I did mean to put in that "3") before seeing that RINO trash besmirch the office and ruin it even more than the horrid Pete "Keep Your Wetbacks Outta California" Wilson did. The latter RUINED us with the Hispanic vote in CA for the next generation. I have not seen ANYWHERE where the recall leaders have solidified behind a candidate. Even if we're successful, I think we may only end up seeing Gray Davis or Cruz Bustamante win something like a 30% range of the vote and with a seriously fractured field on the GOP side pulling up in the 20s, and we'll be right back to square one. Somebody needs to address this VERY important issue before we going any further.

The Libertarians should stay away from this recall effort or someone might get spit on.

This is partisanship gone crazy - party before state.

Davis was elected and is doing what he said he'd do. Try and help him. This mindless divisiveness will only cost the taxpayers more money - and you'll never win.

I can hardly wait to hear the viscious slurs but I had to say it.
