Interviewer speaks with pro-appeasement demonstrators at the rally in NYC this past Saturday. This video really exposes how little thinking occurs on the left these days. This is the kind of reporting that should be coming from the major media, which is still clinging to the belief that many of the protesters are "mainstream" people who really, truly love the U.S.
If there were any protesters who loved the US at the rally, this guy didn't find them...
Follow the link to the video, which is posted on Brain Terminal.

Awesome Video! What fruit loops. When asked about how to solve the problem and disarm Saddam they have no answers, nor do they have anything to offer the interview other than "It's about Oil" and "Bush is like Hitler".
Very funny and worth a watch.

the best response to the "why didn;t we keep the oil foelds in 1991?" was the girl "maybe because the President was not such a bastard?"
LMAO. These people have no hope.

Great video! I wish "mainstream" media would use this kind of down-to-earth reporting (with that touch of wry humor at the ridiculousness of humanity).
Second best line: "I think BUSH has chemical and biological weapons." Funny, but so very, very sad for our country. Don't you wish we could somehow let them experience a week of reality in Iraq?

I'll just hope this wasn't a random sampling, because people like this make the entire war=bad ideal look stupid. Well their own misinformed opinions and blind ideilogy is what makes them stupid. It's not just looks, they are vapid.

An amazing and very, very impressive effort on the part of those who put this piece together. Good for that kid for having the spine to go right into the belly of the mob and torture them with polite requests for relevant opinions, and especially for having the patience not to utterly destroy them emotionally. If it'd been me, I count at least a dozen times I would have said, "oh, shut up, little girl."
They should put a "donate via paypal" button on their site - I'd drop him a $20 donation for server space and bandwidth costs right now.

They never have an answer to the hard questions. We had half-a-friggin-million underutilized troops there in the summer of 1991. We could have taken any damn thing we wanted then - their oil, their women, their money, anything.

Yes, I do! Thank you so much! :D They were typical of the idiots who crossed our paths on Saturday.
I felt scummy after riding the M15 with a busload of them and then walking up First Ave. with these morons.

"because we're not in this to 'own' the oil, just to have political influence over it?" Wow. I wonder if we can influence oil's vote in the next election.
"or even just to turn iraq's oil on, thus reducing the power of saudi?"
Asking the U.N. to terminate Iraqi sanctions would turn on the oil spigots far easier than war.
I remember you. One time at band camp you became a lefty, and since then you haven't been able to cobble together a coherent thought or sentence.
Welcome back to FR though. It's good fun to trash your posts.
