I hope our troops realize that the vast majority of us are very thankful for the sacrifices they make... They are true American Heroes... they should just ignore these nuts that are anti-American.

Here's one way for FReepers to show their support. FReeper 68-69TonkinGulfYatchClub has set up a central clearing house of links we can use to e-mail support to both American and Allied service personnel. His Canteen Post Office also lists snail mail addresses for care packages, and some very good hints for what to send in them, and how to send them. It's well worth the visit!

I hope our troops realize that the vast majority of us are very thankful for the sacrifices they make... This article torqued me off so much that I called the Public Affairs Office at Ft. McPherson, which is near me. I talked to two people there about doing something to help get the word out that there still are sane people in America who support our troops, no matter what they've heard from home or seen on TV or the Internet. I emailed the editor of the post newspaper links to this article and the Infinite FReep rallies. If nothing else, two more soldiers know today that FReepers support them and our country!

Dont forget, the anit-war movement is more of a culture then a political tool. Most of the protestors are there because they enjoy protesting things and like to keep the 60's spitit alive. If you talk to 9 out of 10 of the people marching you will find out that they know very little behind the reason for the war.
