You're kidding me. Are you suggesting in any way, shape, or form that the south of Calgary is full of rednecks? LOL!!!
What is most scary about that picture is that the guy in it looks almost IDENTICAL to a friend of mine who worked with me in Calgary. He lived at the very southern end of Calgary, and he just moved to a small city called Lethbridge, which is about three hours -- you guessed it -- SOUTH of Calgary in the dry hills east of the Rocky Mountains. LOL!
However, the area around a small city called Red Deer (north of Calgary, about halfway between Calgary and Edmonton) has the reputation for being the most "redneck" area in all of Canada. Most of the ranchers who have publicly refused to abide by Canada's mandatory gun registration law are from that area.
Southern Alberta -- even the names of the towns sound really cool. Red Deer, Medicine Hat, Crowsnest Pass, Rocky Mountain House, Bragg Creek, Okotoks, Black Diamond, High River, etc.
Red Deer, Alberta -- Where the homes are mobile and the four cars on the front lawn are not. LOL.
