On it's first overseas trip to the U.S. is lost a screw outside of Norfolk. It's one thing to drag a screw, it is another to lose it completely. In addition the flight deck was too short to catch the E-2 hawkeyes they bought. If you caught the last arresting cable in light enough winds the nose wheel would come dangerously close to running off the end of the landing area. They fixed that by extending the flight deck.
