James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr. (b. 1924) Jimmy Carter married Eleanor Rosalynn Smith (b. August 18, 1927) on July 7, 1946.

They have four children:

John William "Jack", b. July 3, 1947 in Portsmouth, VA.

James Earl III "Chip", b. April 12, 1950 in Honolulu, HI.

Donnel Jeffrey "Jeff", b. August 18, 1952 in New London, CT.

Amy Lynn, b. October 19, 1967 in Plains, GA.

Interesting. I don't recall ever hearing or seening anything about the "boy". Maybe it's just poor memory on my part.

It seems strange how the press ignores the Carter kids. Like their parents they have got to be awfully damn boreing.

The last one I heard of any of them was Amy and her friends zipping themselves up in bodybags in protest of The First Gulf War. Even ther press was turned off.
