Condi leaving MTP after slapping Timmy around....

Condi just wrapped up here (on MTP) so now I've seen both segments this morning... She really is amazing: one hour of intense questioning and I didn't even here a single stammer, "ah", "um", and certainly not a single mistake from the sense of representing the Administration. A true star!

Help me out here, please. I thought I heard Tim Russert say that Time Magazine had a story that the Feds interrupted an assassination plot that was planned against some U.S. senators on Fen. 12. Condi Rice brushed it by saying they were always fighting terrorist attempts. Terrorism was the number one priority of this administration.

I have searched Time.com and can't find anything. Did I mishear? No wonder Frist halted the filibuster if true. It also explains why Congress was briefed on evacuation procedures.

So am I hearing things or did someone else hear it?
