Kristol thinks Chirac is whipping up the British public to turn on Blair..

I think Kristol is absolutely correct. There is a plot to sink Tony Blair. This is not the first time I have heard this. Chirac is dangerous...especially now that he has Putin on his side. Things are afoot here...the other part of the plot seems to be to marginalize America and President Bush.

Another motive of Chirac, (besides hiding his complicity with Saddam) is to minimilize Blair and the U.K.'s dominance in the EU. His actions with the UN put Blair on the spot with his homeys, and maybe even get him removed from office. More influence for France.
