There's no convincing the appeasers of the world and we certainly shouldn't give away any more intelligence than we have.

He says Iraq is an "elective operation"...doesn't think this is a needed war. Says they don't have a grip on NK...says we are not funding Homeland Security enough..IOW, we are not protecting America as we should.

MTP not on here til 10:00,. If Clark is saying wait for UN approval, did Russert ask him about Kosovo and not having UN approval for that little squirmish?
To: Wait4Truth
Ah, Mr. Cohen, would you like to revise your remarks that you made back during the "Kosovo Conflict" re: the 100,000 genocidal deaths that were occuring and that it is imperative that we bomb the bejeezus out of Yugoslavia for 79 days straight and that it was unnecessary to even ask the UN as we are going to use the NATO organization even though said organization was created for defensive purposes only?
Yeh, a bit run on, but I wanted to cover all the salient points in one fell swoop!
BTW, I forgot to also ask him if he has misplaced his 5 lb. bag of sugar.

France's complicity in helping Saddam, is the only way to explain their UN behaviour, imho. They're trying to cover their ass. Needs more exposure.

(Who would have anticipated Germany and France to be the entity that is doing the de-stabilizing!?)
To: Wait4Truth
Yes...I suppose Kosovo was a vital war and not elective. Bah.
I told you they are counting on another hit by the terrorists so they can spin that "Bush isn't concentrating on homeland defense enough" line.
Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if THEY orchestrated an attack just so they could get political points.
To: ReleaseTheHounds
THERE WAS NO CHALLENGE TO HIM BY RUSSERT ON ANY POINT WHATSOEVER. NONE. Are you surprised? Probably not.

To: prairiebreeze
Not only are the appeasers foolish, they are supporting a dictator who kills and tortures his own people. Tony Blair said yesterday the appeasers would have blood on their hands, from a human rights standpoint in opposing war in Iraq.

...plan is to continue their filibuster when they come back from recess... Is this possible? I thought the pubs had blown it and the confirmation was toast.
To: Tennessean4Bush
Nope. AFAIK, Frist just let them go on vacation.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Kristol thinks Chirac is whipping up the British public to turn on Blair..I think Kristol is absolutely correct. There is a plot to sink Tony Blair. This is not the first time I have heard this. Chirac is dangerous...especially now that he has Putin on his side. Things are afoot here...the other part of the plot seems to be to marginalize America and President Bush.
