Clark is another sleazy rat SOB who thinks he has a shot at high office.
Its a pretty dishonorable thing to criticize the Commander in chief during wartime on national television, but what would one expect from the likes of Klintoons General.

The one and only time Michelle would criticize Hillary....when Michelle herself, the media, are criticized. Because you see, the media is so much smarter and always right and just.
I'm missing some info, because I thought Hillary endorsed the duct tape, in some way, which sounds contrary.

Tony's seems like a decent guy. Please don't judge him by the way I described his question. Perhaps I over-simplified in trying to be succinct.
I ended up being a great "straight-man" set-up question.

Thank you for your post! Indeed, it was mentioned as a yawner. There were no bodies to point to since it was burned up in the explosion. FoxNews wasnt strong back then and conventional media did not take terrorism seriously during the Clinton years. Notably, they didn't take national security, foreign policy or intelligence seriously either - or they would have been watching and screaming about it, like we were here on Free Republic.
Clinton's administration bombed Kosovo over 2,000 dead, entered Haiti with a few hundred dead - and on the other hand, turned the U.S. (and U.N.) back on Rwanda leaving 800,000 dead and the Sudan with nearly 2,000,000 dead and tens of thousands more in other places in the world.
Free Republic screamed about this all through the Clinton years - but the only misdeed that garnered media attention was a blue dress - so much so that the real cause for impeachment (perjury, obstruction of justice) was swept under the carpet in a perverted sense of righteous indignation.
In the end, I find more fault with the conventional media than with the Clintons. It never should have happened.

Why do politicians actually claim that they are Rhodes scholars?
Cecil Rhodes the founder of Rhodesia, and author. In his book Confession of Faith, he talks about Anglo-Saxon control of the planet he writes, "Toward such a scheme what a splendid help a secret society would be a society not openly acknowledged but who would work in secret for such a object."

Thank you for your post! All I can figure is that the Rhodes Scholars are carefully selected as potential future leaders of the world and they help one another along the way. But I don't know why a politician, in today's politically correct mindset, would be proud of that distinction - especially considering the taint of its history.

went against principle and watched Face The Nation
Bob Scheiffer is one all around ass (duh)
not one serious war question but three to Ridge about duct tape in a mocking manner......

did anyone else notice that Condi Rice was not buying into the March 14th date that Timmy was trying to get her to committ to?

Great comment--hadn't occurred to me (i.e., a former general criticizing the CIC during wartime). His cat-and-mouse game with Russert about him "declaring" for the presidency or not was barfable. What an arrogant SOB.

"I don't see much about the filibuster or Estrada on tap for this morning, please ping me if they talk about it."
In the grand scheme of things Iraq would take precedence over Estrada...
The Republicans are placing radio ads on Spanish speaking radio channels...
Why would Condi Rice speak to the issue of Estrada?
To: TLBSHOW
What..... not the subject. It was the subject of your post about First not being on the shows talking about the Estrada nomination.... have you forgot that already? I'd guess so.
51...... is the number. How they gonna get them oh smart one?

Our wise Admin Moderator asked that we stay on message, and a Judicial appointments discussion on THIS thread , today, would be misplaced. Admin Moderator is correct.
