A question re: the "quality" of demonstrator at the protests yesterday.
J.Jackson spoke in London, but was it all fringe radicals, enviro-weenies, etc. vs. mainstream human beings?

Condi Rice gave a clear view of where the President stands. It is weeks, not months. The U.N. has to respond to its responsibilites. Says we are gathering more evidence of the Iraq/Al Qaeda connection.

The people against the war which is the left say that is the plan the minute we start the war. I live in a college town and they the left are planning such events. Here and in Britain. My guess is in all countries that are with us. Is it just a threat or just smoke, I am not sure yet. I am going to try and get more information this week. Lions and tigers and bears! Come to think of it, you could play the lion, the tin man, and the scarecrow in a remake of the Wizard of Oz.
Please stop whining. You sound like Nancy Pelosi.

During this temp. lull in the tread...
Meet the Press has a new "glitzy" open. Doesn't fit.
Tim's a fair reporter, but he doesn't understand TV. I remember when Imus told Tim he was 'shouting' at us in the show's open. That was when Russert did his open on camera. They've since covered his shouting with visuals, which makes it more compatible, and now they've glitzed that even more.
Those who get the show later, take a look.

But if it were Pubbies filibustering a Dem Hispanic judge, it would be wall-towall coverage.I vividly recall media coverage during the late-summer/fall of 1993. Clinton was in his first year, Dems controlled congress and they were trying to push through their huge stimulus plan. Bob Dole and Senate pubbies were filibustering.
The media clobbered the pubbies day after day, week after week for their filibuster. Every night there were "news" stories depicting historical use of the filibuster which indicated it had NEVER BEEN USED SO MUCH as it was being used now by those nasty conservatives. There was a constant refrain of "maybe it's time to get rid of the filibuster". It was a media drumbeat that lasted right up to the 1994 election. (THAT shut them up!).

Everyone on our side is hitting hard, thank God, on the brutality of our buddy Saddam. Pound that over and over and embarrass the protestors. You're with us, or you're with him.

Condi Rice was brilliant on MTP ...
To: Wait4Truth
Tony asked Condi how the President reacted to criticism from Dashole/Pelooser (specifically that Bush was not giving enough money for homeland security, but giving tax cuts to the rich).
(and I paraphrase) "I think he reacts the way I do, that this is an argument that cannot be taken seriously."

more evicence of the Iraq/Al Qaeda connection.I wonder if Saddam's son's bodyguard is spilling the beans. He apparently defected from Saudi Arabia and that guy would have tons of information.

Cohen was never a conservative, Clinton would not have selected him and Cohen would not have accepted if Cohen were conservative, after all while in charge of the military who was it that helped keep the military from being able to vote.
Cohen became so impressed with himself that he got the beautiful people of Hollywood to throw him a grand send off.
How much we taxpayers put up for the bash, to my knowledge was never made public.
Question I have, what happened to that 5lb. sack of sugar Cohen carried around with him to compare with the amount of anthrax Soddam had. You know when Clinton could not show his face after "I never had sex with that woman".

Just heard on ABC's show with little Georgie: In the first WTC car bombing, the car was loaded with cyanide and it dissipated in the explosion. I'd never heard that before (or I could be having a CRS moment).
