Since when has a soldier been "asked" to go, anyway? I'm so sick of liberalism --
"I won't go if asked".
Well, boo-freakedy-hoo. How about if you're told?

I don't think he swore to potect the U.S. from enemies of his choosing. Jail him to the maximum extent allowable. Make him return all funds he received, and remove any retirement he is entitled to. Sounds good to me.

"And though he did receive some religious accommodation, he says he was not allowed to perform his daily prayers during work hours, nor was his Islamic dietary needs met. He also did not always get time off for Eid." Boo-freakedy-hoo. Go back home, traitor! No one forced you into the military.

Throw him in the stockade and feed him water and bacon.

I saw him too. Yep; he wanted an education. Of Pakistani extraction, a Muslim. He was arrogant. Thought the FNC interviewer did a great job with him.

I'm not a religous person.. Just FYI.
"Well, the "roots of morality" contained in the Bible are the same for Islam as for Christianity."
Lies lies lies lies.. That kind of moral equivalency wouldn't pass the test on du.com, much less here.

"...he says he was not allowed to perform his daily prayers during work hours..." Yeah, because we're paying him to TRAIN!

There is no place for a muslim in the American military...For that matter, there is no place for a muslim in America...Since I didn't get to say this first, I figured I'd just repeat it, boldly!

Well, if you want to keep your head in the sand, fine.
The fact is, the Koran and Islam call for Theocratic rule. It makes no distinction between their religion and governance. The concept of secular governance does not exist in Islam.
This being said...one cannot be a "true Muslim" without believing this very important tenet of Islam. Find out for yourself by doing your own survey. Contact America Muslims and inquire, in a nice non-confrontational manner if they believe that Islamic Law should rule over the United States. Don't be too surprised when you find out the vast majority of them agree that there should be.
Abd please, spare me your straw man arguments that says Christianity seeks the same result...because, it does not.

That is one of my pet peeves, the overuse of the word "literally".One does not want to fight for his country. The other does not want to wear the colors of the UN.

He only signed up for the education benefits? How does "GEOLOGY 101: HOW TO BREAK ROCKS" sound? ;)

Oaths mean nothing anymore. Remember a guy named Bill Clinton? He is the dude who questioned the definition of the word 'is' after he 'solemnly swore' an oath.
