If a process occurs in nature, then on what do you base the claim that only intelligent entities can be shown to be responsible for that process?
Why would you posit something so silly? Do snowflakes and diamonds contain DNA programming instructions encoded in their genes?! Of course not, silly!
"If a process occurs in nature, then on what do you base the claim that only intelligent entities can be shown to be responsible for that process?"
From the evidence at hand, if at all, of course.
Some processes occur BOTH in nature as well as inside the scientific lab. Well, sometimes we can draw conclusions from what we see inside the scientific lab.
For instance, we see PLENTY of evidence that Intelligent Intervention is responsible for the Base 2 programming of human computer software. I mean, Mac OS X didn't just self-form from leaving a computer turned on for a few million years, after all!
Well, do we see ANY (even the slightest) undisputed evidence of Base 2 programming forming WITHOUT intelligent intervention?
No, we don't. Isn't that interesting.
What about the substantially more complicated Base 4 programming? Do we see ANY such incontravertible evidence of Base 4 programming occuring without Intelligent Intervention?
Again, no, we do not; however, we do see such programming as the result of Man's intelligent intervention.
Does this "prove" or disprove either God or Evolution? No, it does not, but what it does do is point to one direction in which ALL existing evidence favors and away from the other direction in which no evidence in hand favors at all?
Well, of course.
