Bush aides are chuckling over a new bumper sticker that pokes fun at France's refusal to join the president's pressure campaign on Iraq. "Texas," it says, "is bigger than France."

"I wasn't worried until they told me the assisting physician for my surgery was Dr. Howard Dean." SEN. JOHN KERRY, a Democratic presidential candidate referring to his prostate surgery and a presidential foe.

Kerry woke up and found he had had an abortion.

For those of you that can speak French, enjoy:

La France n'est une rien la nation qui peut à peine survivre il doit posséder. Elle n'a aucun militaire, et dépend d'autres nations pour la protéger, y compris les Etats-Unis. Pourquoi sont-elles bouleversées au sujet d'aller faire la guerre avec l'Irak? Bien, principalement parce qu'elles ont des contrats d'huile et d'armements avec Bagdad. Pour le mettre simplement, ils sont dans le lit avec Saddam Hussein.

Iraq is comparable in land mass to California- approx 160,000 square miles. The Shuttle debris fell over a couple of hundred square miles in Texas .Using hundreds and possibly thousands of searchers, plus thousands of volunteer citizens, only parts of the Shuttle have been reclaimed.Compare that statistic with 100 UN inspectors presently searching an uncooperative Iraq, the size of California, for hidden weapons.

I like the comment I heard to the effect that California or even Virginia could defeat France in a war. (Each of those two states provides home ports for more aircraft carriers than France has.)

And the food is better, too. :) (Been to France...)

I, too, have been to that pathetic excuse for a country.

I sometimes wake up at night, screaming, with cold sweats.

We have better food, nicer people, cows with longer horns, and were smart enough to elect W governor twice. Thank you for the link. I hope I can get my sticker before W gets here next week.

One of the funniest exchange I've been involved with here on FR was when, shortly after 9/11, we were feeling our way and someone posted the fact that Afghanistan was about the size of Texas and I posted:
"Yeah....but it's not filled with Texans."
To which someone replied:
"Yet."
