OK Girlz, I have completely fallen down on the job today. I hope y'all have been out having fun riding these neat toys. Just be sure they come back clean. You know what an old lady I am about returning stuff in the same condition we got it. I'm kinda partial to the 4-wheeler myself. And stay safe!!

The picture in #206 has relevance...In J.R.R Tolkien's story, The Silmarillion, Fingolfin, the High King of the Noldor Elves (he's the little guy), fed up with the unending slaughter of their war with the first Dark Lord, Morgoth (he's the BIG guy. He was also Sauron's BOSS), that he challenged Morgoth to single combat. He had to have known that the odds, shall we say, were somewhat unfavorable.

Nonetheless, Fingolfin didn't run, didn't sue for pardon or quarter, he simply stood his ground.

Before he fell to Morgoth's war hammer, Grond, the High King of the Noldor, against all odds, inflicted grevious wounds, which never healed, on the Dark Lord. He actually cut one of Morgoth's feet off, maiming him and thus, weakening him.

Fingolfin faced death, which, for Elves, was not a threat, unless it was unnatural. Elves, you see, are immortal. COURAGE.

After seeing his foe in the flesh, in all his evil majesty, he still kept to his challenge. HONOR.

Even when he KNEW that he would certainly die, he kept fighting ever on, to at least render his enemy vulnerable to his successors. COMMITMENT.

I know, it's fantasy. But, in all of the wars America has ever faced, gallantry and valour such as this, and FAR beyond, has routinely been shown by our Finest.

Tell me, has such gallantry, such courage, such honor EVER been shown by ANY Skinwaster? WOULD it?

Fastasy is not such a bad thing IMHO, how else would I write, or dreamers dream???

Absolutely on the money here I agree toads they are toads, (skinwasters)

I was only kidding about being sacred LC, these guys live on for a reason, an age old theme. Let's hope it never dies.

Things're fine on my end, "Bro. I just dropped in for a little chat and good company. However, now that I've posted a pic from Tolkien, i feel the overwhelming urge to watch my Extended Edition of "LOTR" again, with another cocktail.

A good evening to all, and if i don't get the chance to check back in, a Happy President's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
