Did you ever work with Teller? What do you think of the claim that the Israeli's have made a tiny nuke (fission) using wafers of Americium?

Your#99)....................Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Quebec is big. In area it's the biggest province in Canada. It's bigger than Alaska and thus bigger than any US state.
Could Quebec then be a 'FRENCH Islamic Colony'......?

Too bad the guy stopped them from filling up with gasoline. That would have shut them down.

Can anyone point out to me where it said that this semi was the stolen one hauling Boric acid?
and wouldn't boric acid be in a tanker truck not a semi?

Montreal - Denver ~1600 miles.
To: RandallFlagg
Boric acid contains Boron and Boron is used to control Nuclear reactions. It absorbs neutrons. I am uncertain if there is any connection in any way here or if this data is any way helpful but perhaps there may be some connection between these trucks.

Thanks for the info:
About a year ago, the US installed radiation detectors at the US Canadian border. Before the detection system was fully operational it did detect radiation from an 18 wheeler truck passing through (at Detroit, I believe) but the alarm system did not go off. Authorities have been searching desperately for this truck ever since. (My source for this story is Andrew Krystal, who has contacts with CSIS (the Canadian 'CIA') and has reported frequently on this not well publicised story on WABC, New York)

Yes, Quebec is a large province, but like Alaska, no one can live in most of it.

Hmmm ... Thanks for the heads up!

Maybe they saw the word "acid" and thought it would be of terrorist value...
Like I said in my previous post, Boric Acid is used primarily to create other boron compounds. If I were doing mischief I wouldn't bother with it. But your assertion that it has no practical uses is bald on the surface. These idiots can't figure out that they shouldn't pump unleaded into a diesel engine. However, it is possible that they are just drivers and wouldn't know squat about boric acid anyway. There is also no evidence that boric acid is the payload in the trailer. I was merely pointing out that there are boron compounds that can be easily produced that are dangerous at some level

Two men described as Middle Eastern in an 18-wheeler with a white tractor truck apparently tried to put unleaded gasoline into the truck. An attendant advised them it would not work and told them they needed to use diesel. LOL!
And we're supposed to be afraid of these bastards?

interesting,
Yesterday as I traveled down I 81 south, all trucks were being stopped. There was a big electron ic sign "All trucks stop for Security Check"
The location is in Tennessee near the I 81/I 40 junction

Check #6 by Cindy. It says "powdered" boric acid, which is the only way I've seen it.
This is the connection if there is one to be had.
I think we're trying to add 2 and 2 to make 5 but it keeps us on our toes.
If FReepers don't pick something apart and look at it from every conceivable angle before throwing out the waste and putting it back together in a recognizable form.....well...I quess they wouldn't be FReepers.;0)
