I heard from a friend in D.C. who works with someone who's name you would recognize. He said to keep out of populated areas today and this weekend. Especially shopping malls.

Thanks for the DC warning, there were emails being passed around in New York City poitical circles last night to stay away from the subways until the 19th of this month.
The NYC DA's office and the terrorism task force had agreed that they will close the subways immediately in an attack, no matter if there are people inside.
So take a cab or walk in NYC

And what about an extremely large Baptist church whose pastor was vilified for making derogatory remarks about Islam? in a city which was already identified as having Al Queda (sp?) cells?

I heard from someone who knows somebody who lives next to you know who, in you know where working at an undisclosed location, etc. You realy don't have to panic until you see Teddy Kennedy stocking up on Scotch along with his Duct Tape.

There were identical postings for Halloween of Oct. 2001 and 2002, I believe.

Hmm, seems like a good weekend for two separate 3-6" snow storms! I never thought I'd write that after all the shovelling I've been doing this winter.
