Indications from government sources are that the already heightened Code Orange security alert Washington D.C. is operating under may be increased to 'Code Red' in the next 24 hours because of a heightened concern about a possible terror attack.
Whispers learns that lawmakers are being encouraged to send their families back to their home states.
Other government sources are freely talking about the increased security alert possbily coming as soon as Friday.
Also, Equipment that can detect chemical and biological weapons has been deployed in Washington.
And some government workers have been warned that if terrorism strikes, agencies might not be able to provide enough food water or clothing.

I don't have it bookmarked, but if you search for ORANGE, you probably can find it.

Once you've changed the names, isn't that kind of reasoning an affront to our constitutional sensibilities? Not at all. 1) Our Constitution does not apply to Iraq - unfortunately for the Iraqi people.
2) One is required to file a tax return. If one lies on said tax return, one is then liable for any resulting consequences. Look at Iraq as having filed 17 false tax returns.

Yep, they want the power close at hand so that they don't have to go so far to collect the check.

I wouldn't call 85-98% of Muslims a "small percent". Even Daniel Pipes says that at most 15% of the Muslims in America are sympathetic to the radical types, and up to 2% would actually assist in any way. So blaming 85% for the beliefs of 15% and the actions of 2% is rather stupid. What percentage would pick up the phone to the FBI to report a suspiciously-acting fellow Muslim? I would guess a lot less than 85%. A Muslim who's loyalty to fellow Muslims is greater than his loyalty to the US is a "sympathiser", in my view, and I would guess the number of such "sympathisers" is greater than 50%

Then why have 99.99999999% of Muslims in the US never harmed an infidel in their lives?

I pray every day that no weapon formed against us would prosper and that God would send confusion into the enemy's camp. Scripture is a vital prayer tool.

Yep! Yet another reason to "devolve" the federal government and re-affirm the 10th amendment. Local control in local hands is certainly a better idea!
My dream is lobbyists being forced to travel to all 58 CA counties to get majority board votes in order to get something passed, or killed, statewide!!!
Now that's devolution!!!

Why? Why shouldn't they leave in the case of a Code Red alert? Code Red means that an imminent attack is expected. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, if DC goes to Code Red, then the public will have been notified by the code red alert, so it's not as you imply, that only the politicians will have had warning. There's already been a newspaper article stating that DC may go to Code Red, so people have already been notified.
Having said that, the code red has been cancelled and they'll stay at orange, for the time being, according to the link for the article at the beginning of this thread.

Perhaps they're Reform Muslims, not Orthodox Muslims. Maybe because the Koran and Hadiths say that one should attack from a position of strength, not weakness.
