Maybe they thought the inspectors could use some intelligence?

Which begs the question, if there are no WMD, there wouldn't be any intelligence, would there?Carl Levin is on this same page. He was upset with the CIA for not providing all of their intelligence to the inspectors so they could find what the Iraqis are hiding. In his world it is not the fact that Iraqis HAVE WMD and are HIDING them. No, it is that the CIA isn't telling the inspectors where to go to find them.
Perhaps the CIA had reason to think this might give a headsup to Iraq to move what they have?
