Let's put it into a ratio that you might understand then...as of this morning there are three less potential libertarian voters on the street.

I would never repeat a mistake your parents made.

Did you read the beginning of this thread...or do you just get your jollies by making an a$$ out of yourself?

OR...is it a childish attempt to divert and degrade any form of sound debate here so that it can be moved into the Romper Room? (where it seems you feel right at home)

Meth labs and designer drugs are a direct result of the WoD. A DIRECT result.

The legislature declares a compound illegal, someone throws on another radical group and voila a whole new unregulated drug that needs a new law to regulate it.

Of course, these drugs and labs are hazardous to everyone involved from the manufacturer to the consumer.

"Yep, victory is at hand."

In several ways...your voting block is getting smaller. However, I can understand how your concept of victory is slightly screwed up. That sure was a stunning victory you folks had in Nevada.

I mean come on. You spend millions of dollars to get pot legalized in a state where boozing, gambling and prostituting 24/7 are legal. Where every other sin and vice isn't just legal, it's celebrated. You bring in thousands of activists, run TV and radio ads around the clock, hand out flyers, put up bill boards...and you can't get pot made legal in Nevada.

Yes, you have a real grasp on the concept of victory Sparky.

"What we ask doesn't matter to the Chief Wriggling Officer."

Yep, means about as much to me as it does to a judge. Worth a laugh and little else.

Romper room? I didn't think I was in a libertarian chat room.

Somehow, I missed this earlier while I was doing work.

Is it just me, or do you guys get the feeling that nothing is really going to change considering that within 100 posts, some of the "usual suspects" were allowed to basically post subtle flames and got away with it? Then Houmatt comes along and says "ban anyone who wants to legalize drugs".

Personally, I don't care what policy is taken up. I understand the administration's desire to get the nonsense flames by the drug warriors off the main board so that the average new-commer doesn't think this is some pro-big government chat site.

No, meth labs are the results of low life individuals who make and sell death and misery for a profit. If pot was legal they would still be making death.

Your immaturity and agenda precedes itself.

Thank you for making it obvious for everyone to see.

Well Skippy, the only problem you have with your little large text morality play is that anyone reading it can go back through this entire thread and look at your humble posts...then laugh their butts off at you.

Does someone of your talents and abilities appreciate the wonderful irony of this post on this particular thread?

And having no understanding of the impact of meth labs on communities is adult? LOL!

Irony isn't exactly what I think most people who think of after looking at your posts on this thread then reading your little sympathy post.

I strongly suggest that the obvious Trolls be IGNORED.
The WOsD topic and especially the ant-WOsD message MUST be seen by those who are interested and not relegated to the smokey-backroom. As some of you know, there is a concerted effort by some WODies to flame enough to get the thread placed into that obscure room. We need NOT to post, reply, to them or even acknowledge their presence.

First of all, I didn't spend anything in Nevada. I live in South Carolina and don't really care what Nevadans do vis a vis marijuana decriminalization. To me the Nevada vote was neither a victory nor a setback.

Victory will come when other priorities overwhelm state and federal governments. When government starts suffocating under its own weight and it begins to dawn on them that the WOD is eating too much money it will just disappear. Overnight. And guess what. Nobody will miss it.

LOL! You should try your post again without this tag line up front, otherwise most people won't read any further.

You are wrong.

If your logic were sound, then there would be an equivalent amount of hidden/secret alcohol and tobacco still and cigarette factories. But there's not.

The legislature makes one thing illegal, so someone 'creates' something that's legally different. But we don't have a problem with people altering booze and selling it to others because there's no money in it.

Take out the profit incentive and most of the problems of the WoD (street crime, corruption of the political and legal systems, profiteering LEO's, Constitutional problems, ect.) vanish.

But maybe that's not what you want.

The best thing to do is to wholly ignore these one-trick ponies (one-bong blowhards?), which I decided to do a few days ago.

That didn't seem to last long, LOL

How astute. You've really got it nailed. You'd be surprised at who's running most meth labs these days. Go ride down to any feed and seed store in south Mississippi and take a gander at Farmer Brown. Look like a meth dealer? Look closer.
