I am proud to George W Bush as my Commander in Chief I was glad he mentioned my ship The USS John F. Kennedy, I am glad I shook his hand and looked him in the eye and I have never felt prouder while wearing this uniform. My President is really and truly the leader of the free world.

Thank you for your service Mr. President is what I told him while I shook his hand. Then he said "no thank you I was elected you volunteered." WHAT A MAN!

Fantastic!! Isn't it amazing to be near him?! You can feel the strength and honor that he possesses just by looking him in the eye....

I only wish my son Eric had been in uniform when he shook his hand!

And FtH......I told him I was praying for HIM and for Laura......and he said, "Thank you. That's the kindest thing you can do for me." And, yes. He kissed me on the cheek.........and I haven't recovered yet! :o)
