Upshot of original Japanese-language article ('Freepranslation' by "AmericanInTokyo")
--In the late afternoon of 12 February, Japan Time, one of only two USAF RC135-U elint aircraft (nicknamed: 'Combat Sent') arrived at the US Airforce base at Yokota, Japan. Fuji News now has a video of this from our reporter.
--This craft in place to detect North Korean airforce moves as well as any kind of missile launch from North Korea.
--It was used in 1986 from a distance to monitor the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
--The "Combat Sent" adds to the US arsenal suddenly in East Asia from last week, including WC135W aircraft for Kadena (Okinawa), as well as the USS Invincible from Sasebo outbound to monitor any warhead launches from North Korea.
--Japanese military commentators say the US is serious about monitoring any provocative movements by North Korea, missile or otherwise, toward Japan.

Easier this way, here are the direct links to the video.
Just click your favorite format.

Thank you.
That was very considerate and will help people access more quickly. I'll archive how you did that and provide direct links the next time something noteworthy about DPRK is out on FUJI, TBS or some of the other networks that are not seen widely in the US.

Try the direct link the Freeper just posted a few posts ago. Also, to find that 'file tap' on the Fuji main page, it is right below the 'text search go box' on the top of the page. It is a purple tab to the left of the green one.

Yeah, I got it when I clicked on the red tab. Thanks again. The only word I heard and understood was 'American.'

I think these RC135s are "V"s and "W"s, where the video and story is on a "U" version (again, only two of these in the whole USAF). Of course, I could be WRONGGGGG!

Will try to work on a synopsis but essentially it is the same as the Enlish just provide, based on the accompanying Japanese text with that video.

CONSTANT PHOENIX WC-135W
The CONSTANT PHOENIX WC-135W serves as an aerial collection platform for the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), supporting the detection and identification of debris from nuclear weapons detonations. A single WC-135W [61-2667] is currently assigned to the 45th RS, 55th Wg at Offutt AFB. This mission was previously conducted by WC-135W 61-2665, which was retired in September 1996. Previously, as many as ten WC-135B weather reconnaissance airplanes flew in support of weather analysis, nuclear detection, and other scientific research.

IINM, Re: RC135s, the Rivet Joints (hogs) are the "V/W's" (as you pictured). And, however, this story covers the "U's" (well, one at least; one of two) that have been sent to Jpn from Offutt AB. They have all seen their share of action. :-)
