He said that the dems are opposing him because he wont pledge to legislate dem ideals from the bench. He says they fear his catholic background, his commitment to law, and that they are lying when they say he has no experience.

Kohl from Wisconsin now up! He is mad because Estrada won't give the DemocRATs his personal views. I didn't realize personal views counted when you were a judge -- thought you were supposed to rule on the law -- not make new law!

the only issue is abortion. what is his stand on abortion, they want to know. If he supported it they would be calling him the second coming of Jesus.

Well, of course you know if it were a Rat judge, they'd just ask personal views on such things as his preference in mustard v. ketchup.

If a judge comes out and gives his personal view on a subject, then isn't he supposed to disqualify himself when that issues comes to him for a ruling. The reason that Pres Bush said he wouldn't use a litmus test for judges was because it would mean they had already decided how to rule on a case!

I think the spin was a skiing accident. I've always been convinced Lautenberg needed a lobotomy.

LOL!!! According to Senator Smith, one of the issues is that Estrada is Catholic and I got from his statement that the DemocRATs are inferring then he would be pro-life!
Question? How can Catholics continue to be DemocRAT and vote for this trash that is talking from the DemocRAT side and their whole deal is that Mr. Estrada may horror of horrors be pro-life? When are members of the Catholic Church going to tell RATs to get lost?

MM, you too! I could NOT believe that necklace! It looked like a whole bunch of my dog's toys strung together--after she had chewed on them a lot.
And the faces and that little dance the Hildebeast does when she is trying to speak. Ugh.

I laughed at first, till I realized it was series....because he obviously hasn't been right in the head, anyways.....gosh, when he was on Hannity's show, it was unbelievable, he couldn't finish even one sentence coherently.
