Leahy says that Estrada's refusal to answer whether he prefers burritos over tacos is a sign of a stealth nominee and a Clarence Thomas in waiting. Oh-blow me over with a feather! Now that is funny!

Harry Reid is speaking again ... groan
The (if 319 votes had switched we wouldn't have to listen to him) Sen. from Nev has about 2 more years.

Someone tell the Democrats about DRED SCOTT, how the Democrats supported slavery. How the Republicans tried to stop it. Call the manistream news (sarcasm). The nerve of Democrats bringing up Dred Scott!

"Five out the nine members of the DC Court of Appeals (didn't serve as judges)." "I don't want us setting a glass ceiling for minorities just because not as many of them have served as judges."
Oh, that's sweet! Bravo, Sen. Kyl!

It's all about Estrada arguing before the Supreme Court in the matter of Bush v. Gore during the election fiasco.OldFriend, is this true? If so, that is the burr up their patsy arses. No kidding? Didn't know that. Now I understand...and understand more fully who is behind this.
I still say, since no just cause to has been given to delay a simple up or down vote...these dem dirtbags need to asked why they are acting like such racists? After all, racists can never justify their MO, just like the dems right now cannot-thus the idiotic flailing around we are all so sick of...

He is bring up that bogus Dred Scott decision. Hatch proved that Schumer lied when he said that. Estrata was asked about decisions in the last 40 years. Than Schumer made the leap himself to claim it was the entire history of Supreme Court.
Thank God for Congressional Records, they do not lie.

I've been watching C-SPAN this morning and I have seen evil up close and personal in the form of Leaky Leahy. What a pathetic loser.
Let the 'Rats talk and hold up the senate. They lose with the voters in the long run, especially hispanics.
I saw the pubbies state that they would not bring up a vote on cloture because that would set the precedent for a filibuster on all Bush's appointees which would always require 60 votes to stop.
Frist and associates are playing this smart. Let the Dems cut their nose off to spite their face. They are the impediment to good government and hopefully Mr. and Mrs. America are finding this out.

Ok .. works for me
Sure hope the Dems didn't have any plans

You are very welcome. Do you get the feeling that they've been getting away with this stuff for years? Thank God for C-Span and FR!
"We believe that what we're doing is principled and right." - Sen. Harry Reid
Now Reid insinuating that Republicans are neglecting serious international events.
"We are not going to allow a vote on this until we get the information we want." Sen. Reid is a RAT.

Ya know-it is going to be an interesting vote. Overwhelming in favor, of course, but ohhhhhhhhhh what will Leahy, Durbin and Reid do? Hehe. I don't think Frist is going to allow the dems to ruin the nomination process for lower federal court nominees. This is going to a real expose on just how low the dems can go. I think Bush will have no choice but to recess appoint - if I recall correctly (someone correct me if I am wrong) a recess appointee has to be voted on the year after. If no vote takes place (like under a filibuster), then the appointee stays.
