Sounds pretty series. I have to pop into Manhattan later today for a 6:00 p.m. meeting down near Liberty Plaza. I usually take the subway because cabs are difficult to hail at that time. I'm having second thoughts about going to the meeting, but I'm not the kind of person to change my life because of potential terrorist activities because that's exactly what the ragheads want us to do.

I think NYPD is on top of things. My husband works down near Court Street and said that yesterday they were taking air samples down in the subway. Also said the synagogues down there are heavily guarded. Scary stuff we're dealing with.

IMO, their comments right after 9/11 were words only. Behind the scenes I'm sure they felt then as they do today....the US is always the bad guy and all others are only victims of our greedy pursuits...

If I were Bush, I'd call them, as well as France and Germany on the carpet.

Make a damn speech to the US public outlining, in detail, why Germany, France and Russia support Iraq right now. It would be the end of the story, the end of weak allies, the end of the UN and the beginning of a reformed, and better NATO.

Then make a speech talking about Mandela, Pitt, Penn, Sarandon, and all other Hollywood elitist B-S-artists and how all they can do is scream rather than doing anything productive like serving our country.

I reason it this way. If we were allowed to profile and stopped more and more of these guys, then few companies would want to employ them. Finding it hard to find employment, they will return to thier country of origin and take the whole family along with them. Others intent on coming to America would also be discouraged to do so.

This same idea (of not wanting to come to America) can be applied in other fields and with other methods. The point being that we must control them by sane immigration policies and those already here either by temporary visas, permanent residency status or citizenship status must be given the incentive to want to go back to where they came from.

America: it's hard to get in, it's easy to get out. Let's make it hard for these people to come in and easy to get the hell out of our country. The lesser of them, the better for America.
