Alright, here goes... It was more lengthy than I thought...

Knut, Bærum:
- I think it amusing that Norway get to take a small part in the Iraqi conflict by getting to know you,Mr Krekar! You seem like a sensible man who doesn't wish for anything else than peace in Iraq. That you chooses to use arms in order to get peace tells us more about the Iraqi problem than it tells us about you. Personally, I think there will never be peace in the middle east until everyone is dead. But, I wish you and your family good luck anyways with the motto: Inside we are all the same.

Knut

Answer:
- I think that it is neccesary that Norway plays a positive role in the Iraqi conflict in the sammer manner as in Sri Lanka, South Sudan and the middle east. I thank you for you support, and I wish that the Norwegian society gets to keep its peace and stability. I wanna do all I can to be a positive element in this country.

David, Fjerne Oesten:
- Mr Mullah Krekar. As far as I have gathered, you are a muslim. Could you please explain and clear up the two following questions for me:

1. Those who are non-believers should be tied to the ground and their heads chopped off
2. You can somtimes lie if this is beneficial for islam

My questions are, is this according to the Koran?

Answer:
- It is not in the Koran that all non-believers should be killed. As a proof, muslims, jews and christians have lived together all through history. Secondly, you can only lie in order to save another persons life if he is threatened unjustly. Islam doesn't need lies in order to be victorious as a world religion.

Jens, Oslo:
- Are you against marriages between christians and muslims? Why?
Answer:
- No, according to the sharia that is allowed.

Stein-Ivar Lothe Eide, Arna:
- Would you characterise yourself as an Islamic fundamentalist? If so, what does that mean to you?

Answer: - In the USA in 1928 there was a catholic movement that tried to get people to return to the bible and not follow anything that had come to the fore during the french revolution. They were called fundamentalists, as a negative word. The very same word is used to stereotype us muslims in a negative way. Thus my answer is: No, I am not a fundamentalist, but I want muslims to follow the Koean and view the world with open eyes.

Ivar, Oslo: (This was my question;-) )
- Hello,
There are many people wondering who Abu Wael really is and there exists contradictory reports. Since you supposedly are a friend of his, perhaps you could clear up the matter once and for all: Who is Abu Wael?

Answer:
- Abu Wael is an arab from Bagdad. He is 70 years old, and was educated as a lawyer 30 years ago. He is a good muslim. Those who say is is an Iraqi agent is only spreading propaganda. I think that if a single shred of evidence existed, the americans would present it.
Many of his friends are in Saddams jails, and his wife was arrested by Saddam Hussein.

Øyvind, :
- Do you think the Internet is a good medium? There is so much filth. Should there be an age limit on the internet? Does your group have an internet connection?

Answer:

- The Internet is a very good medium, even though there are also things that are not good with the net. Age limit? I can only talk of my own experience with my children, and if you raise them well, you don't need an age limit. My children use the net on a daily basis, and would not access web-sites that are not good. Ansar Al-Islam has got PC, and know how to use the net, but doesn't have a web site.

Stein-Ivar Lothe Eide, Arna:
- Do you think it is correct when a political leader states on TV and acts like judge and jury like Carl I Hagen (my comment: Pro US politician) did, when he said that you should be expelled.

Answer:
- I don't know if what Hagen said on TV is against Norwegian laws, but I would dearly love for Hagen to prove why I am a danger to the country. I can prove that I am not.

Morten Anfinnsen, Oslo:
- I wonder what position an influence you had in the Ansar-al-Islam and why you chose to take your family to Norway?
Svar:
- I left Iraw in 1982 due to the political situation in Iraq. The last 20 years I have always stayed in touch with my people in North Iraq and played my part in the actions that have taken place there. I came to Norway in 1991, and Ansar Al-Islam was founded in desember 2001. In other words I came here with my family before the group was founded

Daiemann, Liafjellet:
- What is your view of how the Norwegian politicians have handled the situation that arose regarding you? Do you like apples?

Answer:
- The politicians were first doubtful, because of all the propaganda. But, after I was arrested in the Netherlands, and after I met the americans in the jail, and after I was released and came back to Norway and been ten times at police questioning and has given many interviews with the media - I think the situation has become more clear for the politicians. I am an optimist and I think the case now is proceeding exellently.

jacob, harstad:
- You have yourself been involved in attempts to making peace between the ansar al islam and the puk. Do you renouce Ansar's new approach introduced by the killing of a kurdish minister and the murders of two additional persons in Suleimaniah this Saturday?
Answer:
- If you are talking about the assination last saturday, it wasn't a minister that was killed. Av was a military leader and had with him 4 other militants. The two others were from the intelligence service. One time I tried to make peace with the one that was killed. I still want that the group and PUK should have peace talks.

Lars, Oslo:
- Have you yourself participated in warfare in Northern Iraq? And killed people?
Answer:
- I have twice battled against Saddam Hussein. THe first time in 1974, and secondly in april 1991. The only person I know that I have killed was the pilot in an airplane I shot down in 1974, and was from Cuba and represented the enemy.

Hilde, Bærum:
- What is your view of women? Should they wear the veil and stay at home - or should they be out working?

Answer:
- I think that women should be able to work outside of the home, but they should wear a veil.

76, Oslo:
- Do you believe in Jihad, and do you think it will happen?

Answer:
- Jihad, will happen if the Americans (George Bush) continues their current policies.

.........

Hey Cindy...It was quite lengthy, and it is getting a bit late here in Norway......But if your'r still interested I'll translate the remainder over the next few days?

Cheers and goodnight.
