Super is about the same and Premium goes for $ 1.79 to $1.80
The gas has risen 20 cents in the last 3 weeks....and I understand another dime bump is expected next weekend.

It went from $1.56 to $1.79 in Kokomo, IN yesterday. It all starts with Speedway, then everyone else raises theirs. I think it's greed too, and speculation about the war. It has nothing to do with short supplies. We're being taken to the cleaners by our own oil companies!!

Driven by speculation, very true. But where does the money go? Does it go to the producers, refiners, wholesale-retail distributors, or perhaps to the people who trade in oil-futures? I have always wondered who these wild price fluctuations, wind-up benefitting.
I am also painfully aware of my lack of sophistication when it comes to dealing with economics.

North Carolina, Raleigh-Durham area $1.62 for regular at the Speedway (cheapest in town)

I saw 2.09 at a full-serve Exxon in DuBois, PA last week, for 87 regular, but that station is always high.
